  *                      comments in the body will cause a       *

  *                      ERROR:  ILLEGAL SYMBOL                  *
  *                      "<END-OF-STATEMENT>". SOME SYMBOLS      *
  *                      THAT MIGHT BE LEGAL ARE: END            *

Problem conclusion

• Program has been modified to strip the comment statements from
  the SQL statement.
