PK91050: CORRECT THE ABEND 0C7 WHEN HPIC BYPASSES IC PROCESS FOR NON-REGISTERED DB WITH TOIAUTO=Y

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the TOIAUTO=Y is specified for the DB that is not
  registered in DBRC, HPIC issues error message and does not
  schedule IC process and HPPC scan process.  Then the Space
  Monitor can not find necessary control  data which is built in
  HPPC scan process and terminates with ABEND0C7.

  HPIC Image Copy function terminates with RC=08 and message
  FABJ4602E RSN=D8200002 ( MSGFABJ4602E RSND8200002 ) when all of
  the following conditions are satisfied:
  - The target database is not registered in DBRC RECON.
  - TOIAUTO=Y or TOIAUTO=O is specified.
  - DBRC=Y is specified.
  
  As another symptom, HPIC Image Copy function for DEDB terminates
  with RC=08 and message FABJ4602E RSN=D8210002
  ( MSGFABJ4602E RSND8210002 ) when all of the following
  conditions are satisfied:
  - The DB record of target DEDB is registered in DBRC RECON.
  - The DBDS record of target DEDB is not registered in DBRC
    RECON.
  - TOIAUTO=Y or TOIAUTO=O is specified.
  - DBRC=Y is specified.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJMAIN has been modified to treat the target database that is
  not registered in DBRC RECON as TOIAUTO=N.
