Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS did not have any way for
end users to upgrade their LISTDEF and TEMPLATE tables they
defined via panel ADB25 "Utility generation using LISTDEFs and
TEMPLATEs"'s CL and CT options.

This APAR will add an upgrade function.

Local fix

  • Inform end users to upgrade their tables as per the ++HOLD
instructions of APAR PK79517:
ALTER TABLE "owner"."template table"
ADD "DSNTYPE" VARCHAR (8) NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT;

version of these control tables.
