APAR status

Error description

• When core group bridge rebuild occurs, the entire state for a
  bulletin board subject is removed when only part of the state
  information for a subject should be removed.

  *                      group bridge removes too much state     *
  *                      information during bridge shutdown      *
  *                      and startup.                            *

  During core group bridge startup or shutdown, bulletin board
  state information is distributed amongst the active set of
  bridges.  Depending on whether a particular piece of state
  information is no longer needed or relocated to another
  bridge, the state information should be partially removed or
  completely removed.  In the errant case of this APAR, the state
  was being completely removed when it should have been partially
  removed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem was resolved so that state information is no
  longer completely removed when it should only be partially
  removed.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 6.0.2.39, 6.1.0.29, and 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
