Error description
System running with RRS=Y,CTL=DCC, and executing workload based on DB2 as database manager, input from WAS ( OTMA Protected input messages ) fails with some transactions InDoubt ( Phase I complete ). /ERE abends S0C1 on wild branch to low core out of DFSRBLB0 attempting to build RIS structure for the IMS unit of recovery. This is because for DCC, IMS does not at present load the Resovle Indoubt processing logic including DFSDRIS0. SCDDRIS0 -> zero In the case of RRS=Y, IMS is not guaranteed to be the syncpoint manager and so the RIS code is neccessary.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IMS V10 customers with a CTL=DCC, RRS=Y. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND0C1 attempting to branch to * * DFSDRIS0 from DFSRDBL0 in a DCC * * environment. DFSDRIS0 is not loaded in * * IMS DCC. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF * **************************************************************** CTL=DCC, RRS=Y is specified on a system in which DB2 is the resource coordinator. OTMA protected input messages are input from WAS and IMS fails after phase 1 complete, leaving transactions in doubt. During restart DFSRBLB0 attempts to build the RIS structure by calling DFSDRIS0. DFSDRIS0 is not loaded in a DCC IMS and the SCDDRIS0=00000000 field reflects this. ABEND0C1 trying to branch to low core results. Additional Keywords: ABENDS0C1 0C1 DCCTL
Problem conclusion
GEN: KEYWORDS: *** END IMS KEYWORDS *** Code was added to the load lists in DFSIIN10 that will load DFSDRIS0, DFSDRID0, and DFSDBIE0 in a DCC IMS system.
