    ****************************************************************
IMS HP Image Copy creates an invalid image copy but ends with
    RC=0 under the following conditions:
    - FASTIC=(,DUMP) process
    - OSAM database of certain BLKSIZE, such as 27941, 27966 and
      27976.
    - APAR PK23109 is applied to HPIC V4R1

The following two things cause this problem:
    1. HPIC mishandles the data which is passed from DFSMSdss to
       HPIC.
-In FASTIC=(,DUMP) processing, the input database records
are passed from DFSMSdss to HPIC using an internal buffer.
-The data of the buffer is needed to change into image copy
        format.
-However, HPIC mishandles the data and can not make an image
        copy data set correctly.
    2. The size of the internal buffer has become smaller after
       APAR PK23109 was applied.
-In using a smaller buffer, the situation which HPIC
mishandles the buffer data occurs more frequently.

HPIC should be fixed to handle the buffer data correctly.

Problem conclusion

  • FABJFCDN has been modified to handle the internal buffer of
    DFSMSdss correctly.

FABJDALC has been modified to change the size of the internal
    buffer into a larger one.

The following modules have been reassembled.
      FABJFCD7, FABJFCD8, FABJFCD9, FABJFCDA, FABJFCDB
