Error description

  • This APAR will address the following problems:
    -  CCF not issuing DEQUEUE for the Options data set
       if an error is encountered during data set OPEN.
    -  Possible ABEND0C4 in IMS Operations Manager if
       PROCLIB member CCFPARMS more than 1 block.
    The following function will be added:
    -  Added the ability for the batch command processor to
       choose from a list of possible input/output DD names.

    Problems addressed:
    1. CCF not issuing DEQUEUE for the Options data set
       if an error is encountered during data set OPEN.
    2. Possible abend S0C4 in IMS Operations Manager if
       PROCLIB member CCFPARMS more than 1 block.
    Function added:
    1. Added the ability for the batch command processor to
       choose from a list of possible input/output DD names.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The CCF errors have been addressed:
    CCF now ensures an DEQ will be issued even when an error is
    encountered during OPEN processing.
    CCF has been corrected to support a CCFPARM PROCLIB member
    that is more than one-block.
    CCF has added a new fundtion to support environments that have
    JCL that uses more than one possible input/output DDNAME.
