    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    1. IMS V10 APARs PK43739, PK39429 and
      IMS V9 APARs PK40649, PK32345 introduce
      changes to type 29 OLREORG log record
      subtypes 11, 30, 71.

    2. Support DBRCGRP parameter to IMSPI log selection jobs.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. OLREORG type 29 subtypes 11, 30 and 71 now supports
    recent changes for IMS versions 9 and 10.
    2. IMS V10 introduced the DBRCGRP parameter and because the
    customer is implementing RECON Automatic Loss Notification
    they need to pass this parameter and the IMSPLEX parameter
    to IMSPI log selection jobs. Currently only the IMSPLEX
    parameter value is maintained by the IMSPI ISPF dialog.
    Update IMSPI System Definitions in the ISPF dialog and
    generate correct PARM= values when DBRCGRP is specified.

    Note:
    workaround is to edit the JCL generated by the dialog and
    specify the DBRCGRP parameter:

    //ALZDBRC EXEC PGM=ALZDBRC,PARM='IMSPLEX=PLEX1,DBRCGRP=GP2'
