  databases. abend s0878 due to storage shortage. Usually followed
  by various other unpredictable abends.

  number of database data sets due to an I/O buffer not being
  freed.  Code was changed to free the buffer.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was changed to free the data set I/O buffer after each data
  set was closed.
