PK84778: KO2O1364E NTH COLLECTION IS SUSPENDED, REASON CALL$PUT. LOGON TO CLASSIC FAILS, POSSIBLE LOOP

Error description

• After apply of UK42615 customer gets KO2O1364E NEAR-TERM HISTORY
  DATA COLLECTOR - SEQUENTIAL COLLECTION SUSPENDED.REASON CALL$PUT
  (WRITESEQ) when attempting to allocate NTH dynamic sequential
  dataset.  If MGMTCLAS and/or STORCLAS parms of the COPTxxxx
  member are taken out, logon to Classic is possible, but the
  dynamic NTH sequential dataset is allocated using a default
  MGMTCLAS, not what was specified in ICAT.
  This could also result in a loop in the OM PE Server STC, a /P
  won't bring it down, you have to CANCEL it.
  The loop shows up in SYSTRACE as an ABEND0C4-04 in
  KO2HSVPB+654 (at PK78738 level) on a 58F0F010 instruction,
  accessing KEY8 storage with a PSW KEY of KEY7.  The storage
  KEY was not preserved properly and when R8 was used to reset
  it, the resulting KEY was KEY7 and not KEY8.  Since KO2HSVPB
  was in code to handle an unexpected program check already, the
  invalid KEY resulted in another program check and this led
  KO2HSVPB into the loop.
  

Local fix

• provide UNIT(SYSDA) in COPTxxxx

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  Support for new SEQ dataset allocation keyword UNIT failed if
  the UNIT keyword was missing.  A loop will occur which uses 10
  CPU seconds until timeout.

  parameter.
