So HPIC misreads the specification of the input DEDB area data set DD in the JCL, and terminates with abend as execution error. This APAR fixes the above problem and HPIC Image Copy function issues message DFS3708W ( MSGDFS3708W ) and terminates with RC=04 on the conditions above. Also, this APAR fixes following problems: - HPIC Image Copy function issues message FABJ3801E ( MSGFABJ3801E ) and terminates with ABEND U3801 ( ABENDU3801 ) when all of the following conditions are satisfied: - DBRC=Y - EXEC PGM=FABJMAIN - The organization of the input database is DEDB - The DBDS record of the input DEDB is not registered in DBRC This APAR fixes the above problem and HPIC Image Copy function issues message DFS3708W ( MSGDFS3708W ) and terminates with RC=04 on the conditions above. - HPIC Image Copy function issues message FABJ3916E ( MSGFABJ3916E ) and terminates with ABEND U3916 ( ABENDU3916 ) when all of the following conditions are satisfied: - DBRC=N - EXEC PGM=FABJMAIN - The organization of the input database is DEDB - The input DEDB area data set is not allocated This APAR fixes the above problem and HPIC Image Copy function issues message DFS3726A ( MSGDFS3726A ) and terminates with RC=08 on the conditions above.
Problem conclusion
FABJMAIN has been modified to issue the DEVTYPE macro with an AREA name and to check whether the input database data set is specified in JCL or not before the error handling. FABJDALC and FABJDALO have been modified to check whether the input database data set was dynamically allocated from MDA library or not and to unallocate only the allocated data set. FABJDBAL and FABJIDXN have been modified not to turn on the internal flag indicating that the input full function database data set has been dynamically allocated from MDA library. FABJIDX7, FABJIDX8, FABJIDX9, FABJIDXA and FABJIDXB have been reassembled.
