Error description

• Using DB2 Administration Tool Launchpad exec adbdmti
  action(update) fails with
      Invalid Keyword
  error message.
  

Local fix

• Customer reports update works ok when using ADBL clist with
  LIBDEF(YES) and line command 'u' from Launchpad panel.
  

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
  *                 z/OS who use the EXEC ADBDMTI to modify the  *
  *                 Launchpad table.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the DB2 Administration Tool for      *
  *                      z/OS, the EXEC ADBDMTI fails with an    *
  *                      'Invalid Keyword' error message when    *
  *                      parameters contain lower case           *
  *                      characters.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS does not properly
  process parameters that contain lower case characters.
  

Problem conclusion

• The EXEC ADBDMTI has been modified to allow lower case
  characters in the parameters.
  
  EXECs ADBDMT and ADBDMTI have been also modified
  to clear ISPF LIBDEFs for ISPMLIB, ISPPLIB, ISPTLIB and
  ADBTABL and to DEACTIVATE ALTLIB APPL(EXEC)
  when terminating for an error.
  
  The documentation has been updated to improve the
  explanation of parameter LIBDEF(NO) when invoking
  ADBL to start Admin Tool.
