Error description

• CANSO2 is doing millions of IO to DSNLOAD.
  .
  There are a large number of these messages in the log:
  KO2O1402W NEAR-TERM HISTORY DATA COLLECTOR - SUBSYSTEM MPT3 IS
            IN MAINTENANCE MODE, WAITING FOR NORMAL RESTART
  .
  It looks like we are frequently trying to restart Near Term
  History when a DB2 is switched to maintance mode. This reattach
  process is doing loads for the DB2 attach code. Loading the
  attach code is being done to often during normal processing too
  .
  
  NTH should not be loading DB2 attach code so frequently when DB2
  is in maintenance mode or at any other time.
  .
