Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users  of DB2  Admin Tool  who use the       *
*                 interpret  line   command (I)  for  an       *
*                 MQT,  or who  just  want to  see  more       *
*                 information about an MQT (e.g. whether       *
*                 query  optimization is enabled or not,       *
*                 the MQT maintenance mode, etc.).             *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The interpret line command (I) for an   *
*                      MQT displayed the incorrect value for   *
*                      the query optimization setting.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The DB2 Admin Tool SELECT statement for the interpret line
command (I)  for an MQT was  retrieving  all sysviews rows
instead of just the first one (seqno=1).

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed. The correct query optimization and
maintenance  mode setting are now  displayed via the interpret
line command for an MQT.
