    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides following items: *
    * 1. New WTO messages when the DB is *
    * unauthorized and DB can be used *

    *                           request ( HDPC=Y ).                *
    * 3. Fix for the report title in Global *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    This APAR provides following items:

    1. New WTO messages, FABJ4262I ( MSGFABJ4262I ), FABJ4263I
    ( MSGFABJ4263I ) and FABJ4264W ( MSGFABJ4264W ) is added to
notify users and automation programs that databases have become
available from HPIC process. See detail on DOCUMENT CHANGE
    below.

    2. When VIC=Y and HDPC=Y is specified for CIC process with
    FASTIC=(opt,DUMP), FABJ4243E ( MSGFABJ4243E ) is shown for the
index database because HPIC accesses the index database for HASH
check, even though some users do not want Hash check for the
index database processed as VIC. To solve this problem, for
users who do not require Hash check for the index database,
second operands of VIC= keyword, ONPC and OFFPC, are added to
disable/enable HDPC=Y specification for the index database.

    3. In GLOBAL Options report, the column title "ACTIVE SETTING
FOR THIS STEP" is ambiguous, so changed as "ACTIVE GLOBAL
    SETTING FOR THIS STEP".

    | 2.13.6.2 Concurrent copy
    | In using concurrent copy ( FASTIC=DUMP ) , concurrent image
copy processing, that is CIC or ACIC processing, for a VSAM
KSDS requires that the data set be SMS-managed and
BWO(TYPEIMS) be specified on the AMS DEFINE or ALTER for the
data set. This ensures that IMS HP Image Copy can detect CI or
CA splits which cause the output image copy to be unusable.
    | This regulation will not be applied when VIC=Y is specified
    | and the HASH check is disabled. Please see detail on the
    | explanation for VIC= keyword.

    3.0 Operating instructions
     3.4.3.84 VIC=
The VIC keyword specifies whether the Image Copy function
processes a virtual image copy for the primary and secondary
    | indexes. And also this specifies whether HASH check is
    | executed or not for the index database when processing a
    | virtual image copy.
    | +---------------------------------------------------------+
    | |VIC=Y|N|(Y|N,ONPC|OFFPC) |
    | +---------------------------------------------------------+
      where:
Y specifies that the Image Copy function does not create a
physical image copy data set for the primary and secondary
indexes data set, but registers a dummy image copy data set
    | name into DBRC as UIC. VIC=Y and HDPC=O are mutually
    | exclusive.
N specifies that the Image Copy function creates a physical
image copy data set for primary and secondary indexes. This is
      the default.
    | ONPC specifies that HASH check is executed depending on HDPC=
    | specification. This is the default.
    | OFFPC specifies that HASH check is not executed for the index
    | database regardless of HDPC= specification.

    | Notes:
    | . The second operand, ONPC or OFFPC, is effective only when Y
    | is specified in the first operand. If the second operand is
    | specified in the GLOBAL statement or the site default, and
    | is not specified in the GROUP/IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statement, the
    | value of the second operand is passed on from the GLOBAL
    | statement or the site default.
    | . In the case of CIC with FASTIC=(,DUMP), BWO(TYPEIMS) is
    | required for the index database. If BWO(TYPEIMS) is not
    | specified, VIC=Y works only if the HASH check is disabled by
    | HDPC=N or VIC=(Y,OFFPC). Otherwise the process ends with
    | error, RC=08.

12.0 Reference: Return codes, abend codes, and messages
     12.3 Messages
      12.3.77 FABJ0180I
Explanation: IMS HP Image Copy creates an image copy data set
for the KSDS index DB. But it might not be able to use the
recovery process as the input image copy data set. If you use
    | it, the index database cannot be recovered correctly. This
    | message is not shown when VIC=Y is specified.

    | 12.3.xxx FABJ4262I
    | FABJ4262I END OF UNAUTHORIZATION PROCESS FOR
    | DBD | PART | AREA =name
    | Explanation: DBD/PART/AREA has become unauthorized from IMS HP
    | Image Copy. This message only appears in FASTIC=(,DUMP) or
    | FASTIC=(,COPY) processing and is shown in the console at the
    | end of logical copy process for each DBD/PART/AREA that is
    | registered to DBRC. After this message, other programs can be
    | started for the DBD/PART/AREA.
    | System Action: Image copy processing continues
    | Programmer Response: It is safe to restart the
    | specified database.

    | 12.3.xxx FABJ4263I
    | FABJ4263I ALL DATABASES WERE RELEASED FROM HPIC PROCESS
    | Explanation: All databases for image copy process were
    | released from IMS HP Image Copy and have become available for
    | other programs. This message only appears in FASTIC=(,DUMP) or
    | FASTIC=(,COPY) processing and is shown in the console when the
    | logical copy process or other unauthorization process for all
    | databases is finished. For example, if HPIC failed at the
    | logical copy process and succeeded at the physical copy
    | process, this message can be issued at the end of physical
    | copy process. After this message, other programs can be
    | started for all databases. If some errors are found in image
    | copy processing, FABJ4264W is shown instead of this message.
    | Please note that this message does not guarantee the success
    | of the image copy process.
    | System Action: Image copy processing continues
    | Programmer Response: It is safe to restart the
    | all target databases.

    | 12.3.xxx FABJ4264W ALL DATABASES WERE RELEASED FROM HPIC
    | PROCESS, BUT SOME PROCESSES WERE FAILED
    | Explanation: This message is shown instead of FABJ4263I when
    | some errors are found in image copy processing.
    | System Action: Image copy processing continues
    | Programmer Response: Investigate the error happened prior to
    | this message. And, if needed, correct the error and rerun the
    | job.
