  • When a job is cancelled IRLM is abending with the following
    messages in the syslog:
    DXR122E JBT2002 ABEND UNDER IRLM TCB/SRB IN MODULE DXRRL1E0
    ABEND CODE=S0C4
    DSNV086E <DBT2 DB2 ABNORMAL TERMINATION REASON=00E3007A
    The dump title is:
    JBT2 ESTAE ENTERED. ABEND S0C4 MODULE DXRRL1E0+16C2 APAR
    PK69108.

    IRLM performs thread cancel recovery for the requests which were
    still in IRLM. A cancelled lock request could have established
    secondary lock chains with an alternate parent lock. IRLM tries
    to backout the changes made in the lock control blocks and may
    abend0c4 if the links are not set correctly in the cancel
    recovery path.

    This APAR should fix the cancel recovery for a thread in IRLM
    when the request was for a lock that establishes secondary
    parent-child relationship (DB2 CUB locks). If the other
    parent was specified for such a lock request, IRLM will attempt
    to re-establish the partially established lock chains before
    purging the lock in IRLM.
