PK80100: GOC2DTC //S01DDL RC16 "MISSING SEMICOLON AFTER TRIGGERED ACTION"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS batch job step S01DDL
  issues a RC16 and message:
    Missing semicolon after triggered action
  when the input DDL contained a TRIGGER with DELETE and INSERT
  clauses with CASE syntax.

  When  a source DDL has trigger,  DTC assumes  end of trigger  if
  token 'END' is encountered which is causing this issue.  Changes
  have been done to ensure that character followed after the 'END'
  matches with sql delimiter and complete trigger DDL is retrieved
  and passed to parser.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in  V7.2 only.
