Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS MIG function created JCL
  which failed with:
  IEFC624I INCORRECT USE OF PERIOD ON THE DD STATEMENT
  when a TEMPLATE was defined as:
           UNL.&DB..&SN..PUNC(+1)'
  

Local fix

• Do not use GDG's

  There is a string, '.S1' after GDG in the job which is run
  first on the source system.  The batch job results in a
  jcl error with invalid data set name.
  

Problem conclusion

• REXX ADB28M was modified to generate the correct
  template data set name. The &SN variable will be
  translated to a value of "SN" as described in
  Table 8 Chapter 11 of the Admin User's Guide.
