Error description
Atrribute matrix view is not displaying any requirements when fi ltering by attribute using Oracle Description and steps to reproduce: Atrribute matrix view is not displaying any requirements when fi ltering by attribute using Oracle. Recently the customer has mig rated from SQL to Oracle database and the customer is having pro blems with creating attributes matrix views and having them disp lay as desired. This works fine with SQL Server and MS Access da tabases. Steps to reproduce: -Create 4-5 requirements with any 'Requirement Type.' -For each requirement, choose a word that will be repeated. For this example use the word 'test.' In the 4-5 requirements, type in the word 'test' with different variations of upper and lower cases. ('Test', 'teST', 'tesT', 'TeSt', 'teSt') -Create a View. In the View, select the Requirement Type of the 4-5 requirements. Select the query button and select the 'Includ e' operator. For the filter put 'test' in the text field. The vi ew should display all 4-5 requirements created regardless of the cases. -Right click on the project and go to 'Properties.' Go to the 'A ttributes' tab. Select the Requirement Type that you created the 4-5 requirements with and select 'Add.' -For this example, create a attribute named 'Test' and give it a type of 'Text' -Right click each requirement and go to 'Properties.' Go the 'At tributes' tab and put in the 'Test' text field variation of the word 'test.' ('Test', 'teST', 'tesT', 'TeSt', 'teSt') -Go to the View and select its 'Properties.' Click on 'Query' an d remove the original include. -Add a new query and put in the 'Include' operater the word 'tes t'. -Refresh the View and at least 1 requirement should appear. -Go back into the Properites and query button and modify the Inc lude operator to the word 'TEST.' -Refresh the View and there will be no requirements in the View. All requirements should appear due to the them all having the w ord 'test' in them. What is the business impact? Customer has over 400+ users that this issue will be affecting. This issue affects all projects and they need to create filtered views without case sensitivity. Is the client requesting a workaround/permanent fix/testfix? Customer is requesting a fix for this issue as soon as possible. What ReqPro Version/Fix Level: 7.0.1 no fixes What Database Vender/Version? Oracle 10g What component is affected? Problem conclusion
