    (CLC) instruction, R4 (D9D8C540) bad. FPEVDB2I+1462 ( at
PK69740 level) calls DGOVXPWX passing the address of an RQE.
Since the length of the RQE control block was changed via
maintenance and the maintence levels of DGOVISI and FPEVDB2I
are inconsistent (DGOVISI is missing UK38086), the program
check occurs. Omegamon start up should check the consistency

    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    1. When data retrieval requests are processed by the PE Server
subtask and the format of the data retrieval request does not
match the expected format because of an internal error or an
inconsistent installation of the product, an Abend S0C4 might
    occur in load module FPEVDB2I.
    2. When the PE Server subtask is restarted while the OMEGAMON
Collector started task remains up and running, an Abend S0C4
might occur in load module DGOVMSTR because the unicode
translation services are not loaded or an Abend S0C4 might occur
in load module DGOVISI because the environment is not
    initialized.

    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
    1. The code has been corrected to handle incompatible data
    retrieval requests.
    2. The code has been corrected to complete the set up of the
    environment before data are processed.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. The code has been corrected to handle incompatible data
    retrieval requests.
    2. The code has been corrected to complete the set up of the
    environment before data are processed.
