Error description
-START TRACE (MON) DEST(SMF) CLASS(01) IFCID(318) is required for DB2 Dynamic SQL Cache tracking, but not started automatically by Omegamon. This trace is started if NTH is turned on. If client starts the above trace manually (NTH turned off), the problem is fixed. Screen EDDT without this trace turned on: > DYNAMIC SQL CACHE STATISTICS > place an 'a' before the EDDT command to get average for times and coun > EDDT + * + Times CPU Elapsed Wait Get- Sync Sync + Exec. Time Time Time Pages Reads Writes + ------ ------------ ------------ ------------ ------ ------ ------ + 0 00:00:00.000 00:00:00.000 00:00:00.000 0 0 0 + 0 00:00:00.000 00:00:00.000 00:00:00.000 0 0 0
Local fix
Either specify NTH, or issue -START TRACE (MON) DEST(SMF) CLASS(01) IFCID(318) manually.

This parameter will enable or disable the collection of the dynamic statement cache statistics. This parameter must also be enabled for batch mode install. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: A new panel was added with a new OPTIONAL configuration parameter to enable or disable the collection of dynamic statement cache statistics using monitoring class 1 and IFCID 318. This parameter has been enabled for batch mode install.
