Error description

• CQM1013E PROFILE NAME IS INVALID IN PARAMETERS STARTING AT LINE
  nn COLUMN n FOR KEYWORD MONITOR is incorrectly issued when
  omitting a monitoring profile for a given DB2 subsystem and
  denoting its absence by a comma, on the MONITOR parameter in the
  CQMPARMS file.

  CQM1013E PROFILE NAME IS INVALID IN PARAMETERS STARTING AT LINE
  nn COLUMN n FOR KEYWORD MONITOR is also issued when a profile
  name containing invalid characters is specified on the MONITOR
  parameter in the CQMPARMS file.
  
  Both of these conditions result in the abnormal termination of
  the Query Monitor collector with error message CQM2110E
  TERMINATING DUE TO ERRORS IN PARAMETER FILE.
  
  This APAR corrects the CQM1013E message that is issued when a
  monitoring profile is omitted and treats invalid characters as a
  NULL value, allowing Query Monitor startup to complete
  successfully with the following warning message
  
  CQM3302I **WARNING** MONITORING AGENT agent WILL NOT COLLECT
  EXCEPTION DATA OR CURRENT ACTIVITY
  ERRORS IN PARAMETER FILE. This APAR corrects the CQM1013E
  

Local fix

• 1. The error resulting from the omitted monitoring profile can
  be circumvented by specifying the DB2 subsystem ID for which the
  monitor is to be omitted, as the last one specified in the list.
  For example:
  MONITOR (SS01,PROF,SS02,PROF,SS03)
  2. The error resulting from the profile name containing invalid
  characters can be circumvented by specifying a profile name
  containing valid characters. A monitoring profile name must not
  begin with spaces or numerics, must not contain imbedded spaces,
  and must not contain characters other than "A-Z", "0-9", "#"
  "$", or "@".
