PK78569: INCORRECT CURSOR PLACEMENT ON PANEL ADB222 AFTER "PROCESSING ERROR" MESSAGE ISSUED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB222 does not correctly
  position the cursor after the message "Processing error" occurs.
  The cursor is positioned on field "Program type" rather than
  the "Option"/Command line.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When option  '1'  is chosen on panel    *
  *                      ADB222  and there  is an  SQL error,    *
  *                      on  hitting  PF3,     the  cursor is    *
  *                      inappropriately  positioned   (as in    *
  *                      the  screen shot below)   instead of    *
  *                      being  positioned  on Command/Option    *
  *                      line. Similar problem seen when line    *
  *                      ommand  'SQ'  is executed  against a    *
  *                      package.                                *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  Panel ADB222 does not position the cursor appropriately when
  there is an SQL error.
