Error description

  • A customer has a project created in ReqPro 7.1 and DB2 9.5

In the project, all views (regardless of view type) that have a
filter on Name - return no rows.

This issue is specific to using ReqPro 7.1 with DB2 9.5, as the
problem is not seen with ReqPro 7.1 and MS Access.

This issue is specific to the Name attribute, as the problem is
not seen in DB2 when filtering on a different attribute.

    The problem is easily reproducible.

Create a requirement (of any type) with a name value entered.
Create a view (as a test, the attribute matrix view)
Add a filter - where Name is Equal To ? include the name of the
requirement that was just created. (The problem is also seen if
the filter is set to Includes)

The view will return No Rows.

seen if the filter is set to Includes)

The view will return No Rows.

As a test, I created a project in MS Access with this setup
and found that the view displayed correctly.
I then made a project template, and created a new project in
    DB2.
In the new DB2 project, the view was empty.

The problem was also seen when creating a new view in the
    DB2 project.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed to enable name search on requirements
