  • The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB2Z51 "Display/Update
LUNAMES" functions do not support the DB2 R810 24 byte LU names.

ADB2Z51U panel lets the user  create LUNAME of length 8
characters only. ADB2Z51 displays 8 characters only. It
should accommodate 24 characters.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed.  Also fixed the following components
to accommodate 24 characters for LUNAME, LINKNAME,  MODENAME and
PLAN name. PLAN name has been fixed to accommodate 24 characters
only in display panels:
