PK76957: PANEL ADB21XI1 "CLUSTERING RATIO" ALWAYS BLANK

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB21XI1 "Clustering ratio"
  field is displayed as blank.
  

Local fix

• Use the "B" line command to reference the CLUSTERRATIO in the
  SQL result set.
  

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Admin Tool v72.                 *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a 'I'  is placed next to an index, *
  *                      in  the  panel  'Interpretation  of  an *
  *                      Object in the SYSINDEXES',  the cluster *
  *                      ratio  used  to  contain  a  percentage *
  *                      (Example:  Clustering ratio : 93).  Now *
  *                      this field is blank. If I enter 'UR' to *
  *                      update  the runstats  beside  the index *
  *                      name, I do see the cluster ratio.       *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  Modified the panel ADB21XI1 to remove the code that was setting
  the clustering ratio to NULL.
  

Problem conclusion

• Incident is now resolved.
