  function issues a message:
  ADB3014E Error processing View aaaa.aaaaaaaa in CREATE
  statement: Either column HEX does not exist in the table or the
  table does not exist.
  when a view contains a HEX function e.g.
  CREATE VIEW AAAAAAA.AAAAAAAA(PARS_UUIDX, CUST_RATE, SYSTEM) AS
     SELECT HEX(C.I_IP) AS PARS_UUIDX,
