  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Administration Tool V72 who use *
  *                 work statement lists.                        *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An additional parameter  has been added *
  *                      to ADBTEP2 - AC().The acceptable values *
  *                      allowed  within the parenthesis are YES *
  *                      or  NO. AC(YES)  instructs  ADBTEP2  to *
  *                      perform its auto-check processing which *
  *                      may  include  performing  a  DB2  CHECK *
  *                      utility for objects involved in certain *
  *                      operations  within  the work  statement *
  *                      list.                                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The  AC() parameter can  be provided    *
  *                      as input in the jcl  for running the    *
  *                      WSL or may be specified on the batch    *
  *                      parameters  panel,  ADB2UPA,  in the    *
  *                      AutoCheck field.                        *
  *                                                              *
  *                      When a certain operation is performed   *
  *                      when AC(YES) is specified, the object   *
  *                      involved will be tracked by the tool.   *
  *                      The operations are:                     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      At certain points in the processing     *
  *                      of the work statement list, a CHECK     *
  *                      utility  may be  performed for  the     *
  *                      tracked objects.                        *
  *                      These points are:                       *
  *                      - COPY utility - prior to performing    *
  *                        the COPY                              *
  *                      - The Admin CHECKEND statement - after  *
  *                        processing the CHECKEND statement     *
  *                      - At the end of the input stream        *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The CHECK  utility invoked  during the  *
  *                      auto-check  processing   requires  the  *
  *                      TEMPLATEs.    Default  TEMPLATES  will  *
  *                      be built by the product.   To override  *
  *                      those  templates,  use  the  product's  *
  *                      Manage Template dialog and provide the  *
  *                      templates for the ERRDDN, WORKDDN1 and  *
  *                      WORKDDN2  templates.   All 3 templates  *
  *                      must be provided.                       *

  This  APAR  delivers  a  functional  enhancement to  DB2
  Administration Tool's ADBTEP2 program, called AUTO-CHECK
  processing.   This function can be used to perform a DB2
  CHECK utility  under certain  circumstances  to remove a
  check-pending condition for objects involved.
