Comments

  • When a database is in QUIESCE HELD, HD Pointer Checker can
report pointer errors incorrectly, for example, in such a case
of the database data set extension was occurred before QUIESCE
HELD, It is recommended to run pointer checker in the following
methods to validate databases during QUIESCE HELD.
     - Take Image Copy and run pointer checker with the image copy
       data set as input
     - Run HP Image Copy with HASH=YES.

When a database is in QUIESCE HELD, Space Monitor can also
report incorrect data set information. Run Space monitor during
    the database is not online.
