Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Object Comparison Tool  doesn't *
*                      recreate  synonyms  on views  that  are *
*                      found  only on  target  when  "Suppress *
*                      DROP  of objects"  option on GOC5 panel *
*                      is set to yes.                          *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The DB2 Object Comparison Tool  doesn't recreate synonyms on
views  that are found only  on target when "Suppress DROP of
objects" option on GOC5 panel is set to yes.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2.
