  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS GEN line command does not
produce an index to cover the primary key defined on table
SYSIBM.SYSRELS.

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Admin Tool who generate DDL for *
*                 tables created prior to DB2 V7.              *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The  GEN program (GEN or DDL command)   *
*                      enerated DDL for a table that did not   *
*                      have a  primary key,  but GEN added a   *
*                      primary key definition in the DDL.      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The GEN program needs to check additional criteria when
determining whether a table has a primary key or not.
