Error description

  • - IZTGEN converson process now read IMS LOGON DESCRIPTORS
directly instead of having the user code $IZTDESC macros to
describe the LOGN DESCRIPTORS used by IMS.
    - Change the return code from 4 TO 8 when a terminal that is not
excluded from conversion does not have an applicable
LOGON DESCRIPTOR and therefore cannot be converted. The IZTGEN
process now also shows the LOGON DESCRIPTOR parameters
required to allow IZTGEN conversion to define the terminal
      as an ETO device.
    - Support a new parameter on the $IZTTYPE MACRO. The ASOT=
parameter can be coded for UNITYPE=3270 AND UNITYPE=SLUTYPE1
printer device types. If this parameter is included, when a
ZP ETO SUPPORT statement is created for this type (3284, 3286,
or SLU1 with COMPT1=PRINTER), the ZP statement will include
ASOT=, allowing the customer to define the SIGNOFF time for
      a printer.

    ****************************************************************
This APAR will provide the following enhancements to IZTGEN
    conversion process:
IZTGEN Conversion process now reads IMS Logon descriptors
directly instead of having the user code $IZTDESC Macros
to describe the logon descriptors used by IMS.
Change the return code from 4 to 8 when a terminal that is not
excluded from conversion does not have an applicable Logon
Descriptor and therefore cannot be converted. The IZTGEN
process now also shows the logon descriptor parameters required
to allow IZTGEN conversion to define the terminal as an ETO
    device.
Support a new parameter on the $IZTTYPE Macro. The ASOT=
parameter can be coded for UNITYPE=3270 and UNITYPE=SLUTYPE1
printer device types. If this parameter is included, when a
ZP ETO SUPPORT statement is created for this device type
(3284,3286,or SLU1 with COMPT1=PRINTER), the ZP Statement wiil
include ASOT=, allowing the customer to define the signoff time
    for a printer.
