Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool Change Management IMPORT function
  of a change with a multi line COMMENT ON issues a message:
  Invalid token in column list - expected sequence is:
  column-name, IS, string
  TOKEN_INDEX=            17;  , Token=
  Invalid token in column list - expected sequence is:
  column-name, IS, string
  TOKEN_INDEX=            17;  , Token=
  Register error. rc=            20

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2  Admin & Object Comparison Tool *
  *                 who uses  import function with  changes file *
  *                 having multiple line comments.               *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Import of  changes file with  multiple  *
  *                      line comment,  having mask  results in  *
  *                      arsing error. This is due to formatter  *
  *                      truncates  the comment line because of  *
  *                      less buffer size, resulting in missing  *
  *                      of some tokens,  followed with parsing  *
  *                      error.                                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The problem is fixed by increasing the buffer size in formatter.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in  V7.2 only.
