    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Validation issues wrong error message *
    *                      ADB3014E,  when a view is  referenced   *
    * via an added view. The added view is *
    * referenced through column correlation *
    *                      names.                                  *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    When a view references column correlation names,the column list
    generated and updated in dictionary is incorrect. Validation is
    updating the view column names in column list instead of column
    correlation names,which misleads to error message ADB3014E and
    resulting validation fails with RC 8.

    Changes are done so that validation should reference column
    correlation names when provided in a view.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed in V7.2 only.
