  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Comparing  objects  with DB2  Version   *
  *                      9   characteristics   was  previously   *
  *                      restricted or had limited capability.   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      With this APAR,   Object Compare will   *
  *                      support   DB2  v9   enhancements   by   *
  *                      comparing  new  objects   and  object   *
  *                      attributes  that are  new for  DB2 v9   *
  *                      and by generating correct DDL. OC JCL   *
  *                      Missing CHECK and COPY Steps.           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Note: The capability to  compare and    *
  *                            create  DDL  for Native Stored    *
  *                            Procedures,  Trusted Contexts,    *
  *                            and Roles  will be provided in    *
  *                            a future APAR.                    *

  *                      Note: With DB2 v9 the owner of a table, *
  *                            index  and  view is  the  current *
  *                            SQLID under  which  the object is *
  *                            created.  If comparing of objects *
  *                            is  executed  under  a  different *
  *                            authorization id  there will be a *
  *                            difference  in  the  OWNER  field *
  *                            reported  by OC and resulting  in *
  *                            dropping/recreating the object.   *

  Comparing  objects  with DB2 Version 9 characteristics was
  previously restricted or had limited capability. With this
  APAR,  Object Compare will support DB2 v9 enhancements  by
  comparing  new objects and object attributes  that are new
  for DB2 v9  and by generating correct DDL.  OC JCL Missing
  CHECK and COPY Steps.
  
  Note: The capability to compare and create DDL for Native
        tored Procedures, Trusted Contexts, and Roles will
        be provided in a future APAR.
  
  Note: With  DB2 v9  the  owner of a table,   index and  view is
        the  current SQLID  under  which  the object  is created.
        If  comparing  of objects is  executed under a  different
        authorization id there will be a difference  in the OWNER
        field reported by OC and resulting in dropping/recreating
        the object.
