Problem conclusion

  • In IMS V10 environment, Pointer Checker (FABADA1) requests
of DBRC API to "OPEN", "QUERY", and "CLOSE" against DBRC.
This trouble was related to the sub task handling a final
"QUERY" request and waiting for a while after the POST for the
main task because there was no dispatching.
The main task issued a subsequent "CLOSE" request for the
sub task. Then the sub task resumed the process and rechecked
the parameter from the main task.
In this case, because the parameter from the main task was
changed from "QUERY" to "CLOSE", the sub task terminated
through the sub task handled "QUERY" request.
Therefore the main task waited for the POST for the "CLOSE"
request from the sub task, causing a potential hang.

The macro FABUARCA has been modified to copy the function code
requested from the main task into the sub task's local area, and
check the copied function code to handle whether the sub task
can end the process or not.
