APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The WebContainer Thread Pool information is always blank on
ITCAM for WebSphere on z/OS. We have done a bit of
investigation, and determined that the WC Thread Pool is called
'Default' on z/WAS 6.1, and doesn't exist at all on z/WAS 5.1.

The query used in the workspace filters out any pool that isn't
named 'Servlet.Engine.Transports' or 'WebContainer' -- and we'd
like the product, out of the box, to also include 'Default'.

Local fix

  • Change the Filter on the query attached to that particular View
and add 'Default' to the list of acceptable values in the
filter.
