PK71989: POSSIBLE ALAA440E WHEN DB2 UPDATE LOG RECORDS ENCOUNTERED HAVE ZERO LENGTH UPDATES

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• During certain processing, DB2 records updates to the DB2 log
  that have a zero length which essentially is a non-update. DB2
  Log Analysis was processing these records as a normal update and
  it resulted in a downstream validation error of ALAA440E. This
  update will bypass processing these records.
