  • An overlay in the object collection table results in message
"CQM1055E DB2 QUERY MONITOR ssid IS EXPERIENCING STORAGE
CONSTRAINTS, DATA LOSS MAY OCCUR, REASON=01000000"

Additional symptoms may include the following abend "DB2 QUERY
MONITOR #EXCP SUBTASK ABEND S0878 RC 00000010.

Local fix

  • A daily restart of CQM should be scheduled, to release the pages
involved in the overlay and the storage constraint.
