Error description

  • Running PE Statistics report, get unusuall incorrect values for
    SQL DML.  For example: STATISTICS TRACE LAYOUT(LONG)

    The analysis of the data showed that the problem is caused by
    trace records > 32K due to the usage of a high number of Buffer
    pools and Group Buffer Pools.
    Changed code to work with more storage - this helped for Buffer
    Pool sections.
    This APAR will address this so that correct values are shown.

    allocate storage greater than 32KB wherever necessary.
