PK70349: IVP LIB REQUIRES APF AUTHORIZATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IVP step TGEN creates Site Default load library which is used
  in STEPLIBs of other steps.  Some following steps fail because
  this library is not APF authorized and prevents the HPIC load
  library from being APF authorized.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HPIC V4 IVP program uses HPIO=Y which   *

  *                      target library is not APF authorized,   *
  *                      HPIC IVP is failed.                     *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  HPIC V4 IVP jcl uses HPIO=Y, which is required APF Authorized
  DB. But during installation process, it is not good the target
  library is APF Authorized. HPIC IVP: FABJIVP uses HPIO=N which
  is not request APF Authorized.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJIVP has been modified not to use HPIO=Y.
