PK70343: ABEND S80A since migrating to RBD V7.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Abends since migrating to RBD V7.1
  Client set the compile parameters DATA(31) and AMODE(31)
  for all applications, it seems that when calling programs that
  have large internal tables in their working storage, the memory
  below the line keeps increasing, until a S80A Abend occurs.
  (The 7MB is reached).
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Large EGL genereate applications in the ZOSBATCH system
  were using too much memory below 16MB, causing abends.
  There was a coding error which caused some acquired
  memory to be below 16MB.
  

Problem conclusion

• The coding error has been fixed. The affected memory is
  obtained  above 16MB
