Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, when using ALC and ALTPART and
an attempt is made to change the order of the keys, Tools
puts you back in original panel ADB27C without any warning
message that the partitioning key order is invalid.

  • Use AL to Rotate Partitions

Problem conclusion

  • The product now detects when the changed values conflict and a
message will be issued.
