• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparision job step T03COMP ABENDS0CA when a
  VERSION file created at a different PTF level of the same
  release was used during the comparision.
  .
  Additional symptoms: abend0ca oncode340
  

Local fix

• Create all VERSION files with the same PTF level of the product.
  

Problem summary

  *                 count is introduced.                         *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When Old version files (created before  *
  *                      count)  are used in compare results in  *
  *                      RC=00CA issue,  with oncode 340,  size  *
  *                      condition .                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  For all older version files (before count),compare sets the
  record count to zero.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed V7.2.
