Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool AL command issued against a stored
procedure causes the external name to be folded to upper case.
For example:
CREATE PROCEDURE "SYSPROC".OSC_EXECUTE_TASK
   (IN TASKID INTEGER )
  EXTERNAL NAME
  'com.ibm.db2zos.osc.dc.wcc.OSC_EXECUTE_TASK.oSC_EXECUTE_TASK'
becomes
  'COM.IBM.DB2ZOS.OSC.DC.WCC.OSC_EXECUTE_TASK.oSC_EXECUTE_TASK'

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When altering  a Java stored procedure, *
*                      the   tool changes  the  external  name *
*                      (which is the path) to all CAPS instead *
*                      of leaving it as mixed  case.           *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
For language type JAVA the panel was changed to allow mixed
case.   Any language type other then JAVA will be converted
into uppercase.
