  • In the proxy.log, local.log and cache.log, the line delimiter is
    CRLF.  On some UNIX like platforms this appears as ^M

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In proxy logs, the line delimiter CRLF  *
    *                      is used. On some UNIX platforms, it     *
    *                      appears as ^M at the end of each line.  *

    On unix platforms, a CR (carriage return) character should be
    used as the line delimiter. The additional LF (line feed)
    character should be removed from each logging entry.
