Error description

  • If an On-Demand Router (ODR) or WebSphere Application Server
Proxy is configured with a trusted intermediary, a header is
sent in requests to the server which will result in excessive
creation of VersionValues objects. You might see something
like the following from a heapdump after processing with
    HeapAnalyzer.

Local fix

  • N/A

However if you encounter problems with your file system filling
up with heapdumps, please check the IBM WebSphere Application
Server Infocenter for information on setting the JAVA_DUMP_OPTS
environment variable. This will limit the number of dumps
    created.

intermediary, a header is sent in requests to the server which
will result in excessive creation of VersionValues objects.

Problem conclusion

  • The correct channel interface is used to create
the VersionValues objects in this fix.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 6.0.2.31 and 6.1.0.23.
