Error description

  • AFTER EXPLAINING AN SQL-STATEMENT WITH SQL/PA, VIEW COST REPORT
    WITH LINE-COMMAND "C" (FROM PANEL ANLPLIM1), GET EDIT RC = 20.
    ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS:
    1. SQLCODE -104: Logic to replace host variables that use NULL
indicator variables with parm markers is corrected to prevent
replacing host variable with 2 parm markers instead of one.
    2. Analyzing either a plan or package with the PRECISE parm
set to ALL could result in the repeat of information being
reported in the predicate analysis section of the trace report.
    3. When viewing reports a user can over type information on the
report and when the user leaves the report the altered
information could be saved. The method of displaying reports
was changed from an edit session to a view session. Browse
will not work since there are edit macros used.
    4. If the CURRENT SQLID is set to one of the SQL/PA generic
authorization ID’s (ANLUSERn) the plan records from the
PLAN_TABLE where being prematurely deleted which prevented
the creation of the cost, query limit, explain, and trace
       reports.
