Error description

• Cust. env: z/OS V1.8, DB2 V8, OmPE V410
  Cust. problem: Abend0c4 in FPEUFUD2
  Problem occurred during run of a record trace; the abend occured
  using syncsort, running with dfsort all works fine.
  According to the SLIP dump the ABEND0C4 is taken in module
  FPEUIFC2 at offset +X'74E'.  Module level is PK59739. FPEUIFC2
  is called by FPEUFTS2 at level PK57640
  

Local fix

• Suggested workaround:
  
  In a meanwhile customer can use EXCLUDE(IFCID(204)) GLOBAL
  parameter to avoid ABEND S0C4 when generating reports and
  traces

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  IFCID 204 processing causes a 0C4 in the common services module
  FPEUFUD2 (when SYNCSORT is used) OR the RECTRACE output for
  IFCID 204 contains invalid data in case the 0C4 does not appear.
  This is caused by a the variable location of the long name
  offset for the location name QW0204LO_Off. The offset of
  QW0204LO_off in QW0204 depends on the size of QW0204TH.
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  Processing in the Batch Engine has been corrected to process
  IFCID 204 in the correct way. The RECTRACE output now shows
  correct results.
