Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool GEN command issues the message:
SQL      DD statement missing and generate DDL and/or generate
 stats  requested.
 ADB1192I ADB2GEN - Now terminating
when "REBIND PLAN" NO, MASKING "YES" and "Execution Mode"
TSO are used together.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: GEN with masking = Y results in an      *
*                      empty data set.                         *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The SQL DD is not allocated properly when GEN is used with the
following parameters:
1) REBIND PLAN/PACKAGE = N
2) Use Masking = Y
3) Execution mode = TSO
